Hey guys - I presume you've all heard about the recent threats over the South Park episode dealing with representations of the prophet Muhammad, and the ongoing comic controversy more generally.
Just thought I'd throw this out there:

Obviously the issue here is the freedom to criticise (or even simply represent) ideas without fear of death threats, not a desire to annoy Muslims. I wouldn't say I'm committed to the idea of us doing something similar on campus, but I think it's worthy of discussion at least, since it's so topical.
It's also clearly a bad time of year for it with the exams and societies basically in hibernation, but we could maybe think about doing something over the summer in the city, perhaps including the Cork branch of AI.
